We understand that this can be a distressing decision to make, that’s why our experienced and compassionate staff will be on hand to answer any questions you might have and support you while you make this decision.

Our wide range of coffins and caskets include both simple to opulent styles, with options for both burial and cremation. We can also offer a range of environmentally friendly coffins for a more sustainable funeral.

Mementos for the coffin

Many bereaved families take great comfort from placing personal items such as photographs and letters in a loved one’s coffin. We place no restriction on what you put in the coffin while it is in our care but crematoria may prohibit items of certain materials, such as metal or glass. Please inform us of your request and we will advise accordingly.

Carrying the coffin

While we’re always able to provide bearers to carry your loved one’s coffin or casket, we understand that you may wish for relatives, friends or colleagues of the deceased to act as bearers instead.

Clothing for the deceased

In most cases it’s entirely acceptable to select clothing for your loved one to wear in the coffin. There are circumstances, however, where certain materials are restricted – particularly with cremations. We ask, therefore, that you consult us beforehand to avoid disappointment or select from our range of dressing or suiting robes, all of which are acceptable to the relevant authorities.
